I'm a Bad Person

Okay, not really that bad in the grand scheme, not biblical levels or anything, more lazy bad, than crazy bad.
Perhaps *'biblical levels' isn't a term I should be throwing about currently....soz.
Regardless, I haven't written a post in a long time, you can check dates, it's poor. So I'm going to make more of an effort this time around, and maybe have a re-think about what this blog's about in the hope that it may encourage me to put words down in the first place.
I still want to post about pieces I've created, big or small, but think I'm going to do little and often rather than 'event' posts.
I've done quite a few commissions since .......September?! Wow, ok, that's rubbish.
You should see a few pictures below for the vocal group Papagena. I was asked to produce a montage type painting to celebrate a Birthday for one of it's number. They'wanted to capture their not inconsiderable achievements which include a number of albums and a show on Radio 4's Women's Hour.
I've also made a real effort to produce activities, mostly via social media, for folks at home to help with Corona stuff we're currently dealing with.
Guilty admission?
Perversely, I've really enjoyed large aspects of being stuck indoors. The creative side of me has managed to keep me going and ideas dribble out of my brain all the time...too many ideas probably, because I'm not finishing things before moving onto something else.
Obviously, the balance of me being arty and all fuzzy from drawing robots and dragons, etc compared to the 'real world' and daily updates from the dying and suffering isn't cool, but I'm not going to try and address all that in a daft blog read by a dozen people.
File under, Bad Person, again.
So, on the notion of little and often, have yourself a cappachoo-choo on me, you are, as always, a bulky chipmunk, ciao, bella omletto .
Stay safe
Pete
*for historical context - the world is undergoing a pandemic of an appallingly bad nature and we're all stuck inside trying to ride it out, unless you're key to fighting it and helping us self isolate in which case you're a total legend, thanks. The world is literally on lock down and it's completely surreal.
